MERCENARY II A review of Mercenary II. By Pablo Last Saturday I went with friends to see the Mercenary II. That is an action film starring Silvestre Stallone. The film set in in the Second World War. The film is not too gripping. It’s about a group of mercenaries that have to kill a colonel of the other side in exchange of money. The ending of the film is not at all happy. The acting is very good. Silvestre Stallone, who is the leader of the four mercenaries, plays a perfect role, excellent. But I think that the role of the colonel is not so good. The war and the strategies of the mercenaries were incredible, but when the colonel died it was terrible. This is a classic war film: a lot of violence, crimes, etc. I really like this film.
Captain Philips is an action film, starring Tom Hanks and directed by Paul Greengrass. The film is based on real events. Richard Philips is the captain of the Maersk Alabama, which has been hijacked by pirates. The film is very entertaining. It has a happy ending, the captain and all the crew were freed by a SEAL team. The acting is fantastic, Tom Hanks plays the leading role , the captain, who is as good as Abduwali Muse, a pirate. I went to see this film a long time ago, but I still think it’s a good film. It’s an action comedy film starring Will Smith, Tommy Lee and Josh Brolin.
The film is about a murder that is in prison, and he escapes. He wants to revenge on the agent, which captured him. The murder goes back to the past, and he wants that the agent not to capture him. By doing this he wants to destroy the Earth.
While he’s in the past, trying to destroy the Earth, a satellite gets on the way of the missile and this one is destroyed.
I think that the role of Josh Brolin is very good, because it’s very difficult acting like a murder. Also this third film is like the first and the second, but for me it has a great ending.
My overall opinion is that this film is fantastic, and it has three very professional actors.
A review of “ Catching the fire” by Elisabeth Guillen The last film that I watched is the second film of the Hunger games trilogy. The main actors are Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson. And it’s a science fiction film. At the beginning, it starts with the uprising of the districts. Then they have more problems, one of them ends with a tragedy, although in the film there’s a lot of romance. The most exciting part of the film is when they have to return into the ring. Another thing that I liked was the special effects of the movie. There are so real that you feel you are there . However, I think that the book is better. Finally, I think that you would like the movie, I would recommend to read the book first and after watch the movie, so you can understand it better.
A review of The Hunger Games by Aida I recently saw The Hunger games. It’s an action and science fiction film starring Jennifer Lawrence. In the film, she plays the role of Katniss Everdeen, a young girl (18 years old). In order to save her sister, she offers to participate in the Hunger Games that are an obligatory competition where teenagers from 12 to 18 years old fight until someone wins. The film is very gripping, although too violent in some scenes. The acting and special effects were very good. I especially liked when a virtual tiger appeared all of a sudden. It was a very scary scene. However, my friends and I laughed to our reactions. The film was very scary. Nevertheless it was good overall. I recommend this film for adults, but not for kids.
Oblivion is a science fiction film starring Tom Cruise. The film is about The Earth in a post-apocalyptic period. The film is very gripping. It has a good ending because the principal character (Tom Cruise) releases that he loves his hypothetic wife when she appears on a spaceship. The acting is fine although there are some exceptions: the woman that appears at the beginning of the film. I overall liked the music and the special effects. However, the place wasn´t good enough. I really enjoyed the film for the entire screenplay and specially the special effects. There is a little violence and romance, which make the film good for all types of public. Nevertheless it isn´t recommended for children under twelve. Overall the film is ones of the best I’ve ever seen
A review of Hunger Games in Flames by Emma I recently went to see Hunger games in Flames. It’s a science fiction film, action film and comedy. Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson had the leading role. The story is very gripping. It’s about 12 districts and Katniss ( Jennifer Lawrence) managing to survive the seventy-quarters Hunger Games. When this happens she has to fight again professional rivals like Petta ( Josh Hutcherson). We don’t know the ending, because they disappear and so we’l have to wait till the second part of the film, but the ending of the film is not at all happy. The acting is very good. Jennifer Lawrence’s acting is as good as Josh Hutcherson. The music is very good but the special effects are incredible. The location is good, and the screenplay is very good, there are some funny moments in the screenplay. This film is incredible. I like this film because there’s a lot of action and funny moments. Go and see if you can.
A review of The Disappearance of Delimar by Georgina The disappearance of Delimar is a historical drama which is really moving, is starring Judy Reyes. While a couple is celebrating the birth of their third daughter, Delimar, the baby's room starts to get burnt. The mother tries to save her but it isn't in her crib any more. Extinguished the fire, the baby's body is still missing. The police forensic investigation department and the firefighters conclude that her body has disappeared, but her mother believes someone took her body as the window of the room was closed and when the fire occurred it was, inexplicably, open... it’s too gripping and the characters are convincing. It had a good ending. The acting is really good. The screenplay is interesting and it has believable special effects. The movie is based on a true story and it has a “benchmark” for the acting, however, each of the personages makes his role very well. I think the acting is really good and so is the location. I liked the movie and i recommend it.
GROWN UPS 2 by Laia This summer I saw a film with my cousin at which I laughed a lot. This film is Grown Ups 2. It is a comedy film. The main actors are Lenny and his friends. However, their sons and daughters will appear a lot in this story. The film is about Lenny and his old friends coming back for holidays to the place where they were born and lived when they were young. They still have the minds of a child and during the film they do crazy things. Nevertheless, their sons and daughters will make their parents settle down acting as adults. It is a very gripping film, and it has a happy ending. In my opinion, Adam Sandler who plays the role of Lenny in the film, acted very well, he is so funny. In the contrary, I think that the acting of one of the sons is not as good as I expected. There isn’t a lot of special effects. Nevertheless, the stunts are incredible. For example, they jump from a high cliff which is one of the bravest things I’ve ever seen. This film is full of funny moments I really recommend it you, you’ll enjoy it lot. Go and see it if you can, you’ll laugh a lot.

The film is based on the novel, on the same name, written by Suzanne Collins. The film is about twelve boys and twelve girls that have to fight to death between them and the winner will be crowned. The twenty four guys are chosen by a drawing. In spite of the fact that it is gripping and very interesting, it has a very good ending. The acting is very good and the lead actress is well-known in America. The special effects and the music are incredible. In addition, the stunts of the film are one of the best things that this film has. The hunger games is a very interesting film and it has a very good ending. I enjoyed it very much so if you can go and see it.

This film is very gripping. It is about twelve districts that are poor, and don’t have it to eat. However, there is a rich district that prepares a game so that two persons of each district can participate. And the people that participate in it want to eat. The film has a happy ending. The acting was very good although the music wasn’t very good. But the best thing was the special effects, there are incredible effects. The screenplay is as good as the acting. This is the best science fiction film that I’ve ever see. It is not too scary. In spite of the fact that it was a bit violent, overall I liked this film and I want to see the second and the third film.
One of the films that I enjoyed most was dawn part 2, an action movie starring. It is about a family of vampires and wolves struggling to destroy other bad vampires in a battle.
This group of wolves and vampires gather whist a vampires who want to destroy them and one of them reads the future and predicts that the they lost, the bad guys, and this is how they give up.
Special effects were very good during the battle that he imagined. One of the good things is the localitation which is very foggy and it makes the battle most longer.
I loved the movie for the action and the interpreted it is. The specially effects and scene, It is a very good film in me opinion.

Yesterday, I saw The time traveler’s Wife. It’s a romantic and drama film starring Eric Bana, Rachel McAdams, Ron Livingston, Arliss Howard, Alex Ferris, Stephen Tobolowsky, Jane McLean, Brooklynn Proulx, Hailey McCann, Tatum McCann, Philip Craig. This film is based on the book the time traveler’s Wife by David Grossman. The film is about a man who travels back in time. He discovers when he was six years when his mother and he staying into the car. There was an accident but was saved, starting from there all began. When it was mas older it knows a girl who said to him that she of it knew of small since he was travelling in the time, they started going out and finally they married. She I remain a pregnant woman two times but both times it lost it since the fetus also was travelling in the time and was expiring but finally she managed to remain a pregnant woman since this fetus was managing to travel when this one wanted. To the time from her to be embarrassed I travel to the future and it saw his daughter with ten years and this one said to him that he was dying when she was 5 years old. He ended up by dying and when the daughter grew the father appeared of the future and turned them to seeing because it was appearing. I think that it is a very nice movie to be going to see her since it is a hard topic but is very nice since they it overcome all together.
Toy Story 3 by: Helena Asensio I recently saw Toy Story 3. It's ah animation film starring Joh Lasseter. The movie is about Andy who has grown up and has to leave her home to go to the University. She has to choose between leaving her toys in her house, donating them to a children's center or throw them away. Andy chose to leave her toys in her home except for Woody, her favourite toy, which she takes to Universty.The toys and Woody, seeped by mistake in the box of the children's centre. there they were abused for the childrens and a pink pig but Woody tried to escape anyway, before Andy left to the University. Finally, all the toys get home and Andy threw the toys to their neighbor except for Woody. The music is very good. Nevertheless, the animation is better. the story and the screenplay are good too. In my opinion, it is a fabulous film suitable for all audiences.
A review of “Agosto” Yesterday, I went to see “Agosto”. It’s a comedy film starring Meryl Streep. The film in based on a book, about a couple that has three daughters. All the family decide to meet in a house in a village, in the month of August. The film ends with all the family scattered. It is so gripping. The acting is neural, Berely Weston, who is the father of the family, is brilliant as usual, although his wife is not very convincing. The music and the screenplay are very good. It is not the best film in the world. However, the screenplay and the music are fantastic. I think the acting could be better, but overall, I liked it! Helena Serra
RED2 by Alejandro I recently saw RED2 at home. It’s an action film starring Bruce Willis and other actors are: John Malkovich, May-Louise Parker, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Helen Mirren, Anthony Hopkins, Byung-Hun Lee and Neal McDonough. ‘In the film, Bruce Willis is a retired agent and the FBI and the MI6 want to kill him because they think that he wanted to destroy the Kremlin. However this isn’t true. A scientist , Anthony Hopkins, is the person who wanted to destroy the Kremlin so Bruce met with his CIA friends, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren, save the Kremlin and kill Anthony Hopkins with the bomb that he wanted to plant. The acting is very good and the special effects are amazing but the best are the stunts and the location of the film which is New York, Paris and Moscow, the screen play is also good. In my opinion it is an amazing film. I recommend it to anyone that likes action films.
A review of Evan Almighty, by Aguenyú Last Monday I went to saw Evan Almighty, is a comedy starring Steve Carrell. The film is original story directed by Tom Shadyac, the creator of Ace Ventura, The Dragonfly, Patch Adams, etc. This film is adapted for all ages. The story is very funny. It’s about a family that moves out of their city. In front the father appeared a God that tells him to build a boat. I like the comedy, Steve Carell plays the role of the father, whose dream is to change the world. I didn’t enjoy the special effects, because they are very unreal. It’s a classic religious story, not violent and had a lot of special effects. If you like comedies go and see this film when you can.
Shooter is a conspiracy thriller film directed by Anthonie Fuqua starring Mark Wahlberg. Shooter is based on the novel ``Point Of Impact´´ by Stephen Hunter. It´s about a former militar, Bob Lee Swagger, who is accused of murder. Then, a secret company, cheat to kill the president of USA, but he discovered that they were cheating him and he escape. He became to a national fugitive. He wants to take revenge… finally he win and it has a good ending. The film is very gripping and exiting and I liked the special effects. Mark Wahlberg, Bob Lee Swagger, played his role very well. I enjoyed last all the film because it was very entertaining. I think that it´s a very good film and I recommend it to everyone who likes this kind of thriller.
A review of the Hobbit by Adrià Recently, I went to see the Hobbit. The Hobbit is a science fiction film starring starring Martin Freeman. The film is based on a book written over 60 years ago. The story is very gripping. It’s about hobbits from the shire. Nevertheless the film hasn’t got a happy ending. The acting is fantastic. Martin Freeman plays the role of Bilbo, and Ian Mc Kellen plays the role of Gandalf. They are a hobbit and a magician who help a group of dwarfs to recover what had been stolen. In my opinion the film was very good, the acting is incredible, the screenplay is very good too and I recommended this film to the people that like science fiction films.

The film is about a thief that is very good stealing,and a big group of police want to fight to get him. In the film the police get him. As he is very good the police want to contract him, and if he don't go with the police he go to the prision. He said that he want to work for the police, he arrest all the bad and good thiefs. Is very good and convincing film. The acting is very good, the screenplay so good but that film is for 16 years old, the music was normal, the special effects where very good and the location is good for that type of film. I thing that is a very good film, that if one person seen it, he will love it!! I recomend this film for all the people that like action films.
Star wars (retorn of the jedi ) -I’ve seen a lot of times star wars.my favorite film in the saga star wars is “return of the jedi”. - The movie is about one jedi who lives different adventures although at the end of de story he discovers that his father is Darth vader (the bad guy of the movie). -The film is old and in spite of the fact that It not very modern, it’s still my favorite. -Although the movie is very old, the special effects are very good. The film when it was released was shocking for the people. -I like very much this saga but the modern movies aren´t as interesting as the older.

The acting is neural, Berely Weston, who is the father of the family, is brilliant as usual, although his wife is not very convincing. The music and the screenplay are very good.
It is not the best film in the world. However, the screenplay and the music are fantastic. I think the acting could be better, but overall, I liked it!

ReplyDeleteI recently saw RED2 at home. It’s an action film starring Bruce Willis and other actors are: John Malkovich, May-Louise Parker, Catherine Zeta-Jones, Helen Mirren, Anthony Hopkins, Byung-Hun Lee and Neal McDonough.
‘In the film, Bruce Willis is a retired agent and the FBI and the MI6 want to kill him because they think that he wanted to destroy the Kremlin. However this isn’t true. A scientist , Anthony Hopkins, is the person who wanted to destroy the Kremlin so Bruce met with his CIA friends, John Malkovich and Helen Mirren, save the Kremlin and kill Anthony Hopkins with the bomb that he wanted to plant.
The acting is very good and the special effects are amazing but the best are the stunts and the location of the film which is New York, Paris and Moscow, the screen play is also good.
In my opinion it is an amazing film. I recommend it to anyone that likes action films.

ReplyDeleteLast Monday I went to saw Evan Almighty, is a comedy starring Steve Carrell.
The film is original story directed by Tom Shadyac, the creator of Ace Ventura, The Dragonfly, Patch Adams, etc. This film is adapted for all ages. The story is very funny. It’s about a family that moves out of their city. In front the father appeared a God that tells him to build a boat.
I like the comedy, Steve Carell plays the role of the father, whose dream is to change the world. I didn’t enjoy the special effects, because they are very unreal.
It’s a classic religious story, not violent and had a lot of special effects. If you like comedies go and see this film when you can.

Shooter is based on the novel ``Point Of Impact´´ by Stephen Hunter. It´s about a former militar, Bob Lee Swagger, who is accused of murder. Then, a secret company, cheat to kill the president of USA, but he discovered that they were cheating him and he escape. He became to a national fugitive. He wants to take revenge… finally he win and it has a good ending.
The film is very gripping and exiting and I liked the special effects. Mark Wahlberg, Bob Lee Swagger, played his role very well. I enjoyed last all the film because it was very entertaining.
I think that it´s a very good film and I recommend it to everyone who likes this kind of thriller.

ReplyDeleteRecently, I went to see the Hobbit. The Hobbit is a science fiction film starring starring Martin Freeman.
The film is based on a book written over 60 years ago. The story is very gripping. It’s about hobbits from the shire. Nevertheless the film hasn’t got a happy ending.
The acting is fantastic. Martin Freeman plays the role of Bilbo, and Ian Mc Kellen plays the role of Gandalf. They are a hobbit and a magician who help a group of dwarfs to recover what had been stolen.
In my opinion the film was very good, the acting is incredible, the screenplay is very good too and I recommended this film to the people that like science fiction films.

The film is about a thief that is very good stealing,and a big group of police want to fight to get him.
In the film the police get him. As he is very good the police want to contract him, and if he don't go with the police he go to the prision.
He said that he want to work for the police, he arrest all the bad and good thiefs.
Is very good and convincing film.
The acting is very good, the screenplay so good but that film is for 16 years old, the music was normal, the special effects where very good and the location is good for that type of film.
I thing that is a very good film, that if one person seen it, he will love it!!
I recomend this film for all the people that like action films.
Star wars (retorn of the jedi )
ReplyDelete-I’ve seen a lot of times star wars.my favorite film in the saga star wars is “return of the jedi”.
- The movie is about one jedi who lives different adventures although at the end of de story he discovers that his father is Darth vader (the bad guy of the movie).
-The film is old and in spite of the fact that It not very modern, it’s still my favorite.
-Although the movie is very old, the special effects are very good. The film when it was released was shocking for the people.
-I like very much this saga but the modern movies aren´t as interesting as the older.
