  1. Pau Casals was born in El Vendrell, Catalonia, the 29 th of December, 1876. He lived all his life in Catalonia. He studied at the “Escola Municipal de Música de Barcelona” , he played the cello, and he gave a lot of concerts. He worked as a Catalan musician. He helped people to understand the Catalan feeling and he fought for a better future in Catalonia. He was a very honest, intelligent and friendly person. He is well-known because He was a genius playing the cello and He played in a lot of places. I admire Pau Casals because I thing He plays the cello very well, and He fought for a better future.

  2. GALILEO GALILEI
    Galileo was born in 1564 and he lived in Pisa, Italy. He studied medicine at the University of Pisa, and worked as a mathematics professor in a university. He was a very intelligent astronomer and fought against the Holly Roman Catholic Church, because he believed that the Sun was the centre of the universe, but the church thought that the Earth was the centre. This was against the law of the church, so he was arrested. He invented the first telescope, which helped to know more things about the universe. With the telescope he discovered mountains and craters on the Moon. He also discovered that Venus was closer to the Sun than the Earth… He died in the Grand Duchy of Tuscany, Italy in 1642.

  3. Beatified Mother of Calcuta was born whith the name of Agnes Gonxhe Bojaxhiu. She was born on August 26, 1910 in the city of Skopje. At that time located in the Ottoman Empire which is today the capital of the Republic of Macedonia. She came from a catholic family. At the age of 12 she decided that her vocation was to become a missionary. She was a catholic nun of Albanian ethnicity who was awarded whith the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979. She founded the Missionaries of charity. She dided in Calcuta, India in 1997.

  4. TERESA OF CALCUTTA
    Mother Teresa of Calcutta was born on 26 August 1910, but she I considered to have been born on 27 August, the day she was baptized. She was born in the republic of Macedonia. She lived in India. Mother Teresa was a catholic nun, who was awarded with the Nobel Peace Prize. She founded the Missionaries of charity, a Roman Catholic religious congregation which is active in 133 countries. For more than 45 years, she took care of poor and orphan people, and she also helped people that suffered from leprosy. She also stayed a long time in other similar clinics. She died on 5 September 1997.

  5. MAHATMA GANDHI
    Gandhi was born in Porbandar, a coastal village in India, the 2nd of October of 1869. He lived in India and in USA. He studied Religion politics. Gandhi became a leader for the Muslims during protest against the declining status of the Caliphate. He fought for women’s rights and for work place. He worked as a lawyer. He was in prison for committing some crimes. He helped to seek peace in the world. He was a brave and very honest person. He was assassinated and he died on the 30th of January of 1948. He died at the age of 78. Gandhi is an admirable and exemplary person.

  6. MOTHER TERESA OF CALCUTA
    Mother Teresa was born in Turkey on August 26, in 1910 and died on September 5, in 1997. His real name was Agnes. At the age of 18 she entered the Order of Our Lady of Loreto Sister. In 1937 she taught at St. Mary’s College in Calcutta. In 1946 she was responsible for services given to the poor in India. Two years later, Pope Pius XII granted her permission to come on independent nun and she began to help the poor who were in the streets. She founded a foundation called the Missionaries of Charity. A few years later she began helping lepers. When she died, in 1997, the Government of India made a state funeral. In 2003 she was beatified by Pope John Paul II.

  7. Francesc Coll was born on 18, May, 1812 in Gombrèn. He lived in Gombrèn and he studied religion while he taught children in a seminary. When he was 48, he was nominated head of the Dominican Order. He helped poor and sick people. He fought against poverty. On 11, October, 2009 he was cannonized by pope Benedict XVI. He was very honest and a kind of a very good pearson.

  8. LIAM PAYNE: ONE DIRECTION
    Liam Payne was born in 1993 in England. Liam Payne was a student at the university of wolverhampton.
    Liam Pyne ppeared for the first time in the 2008 edition of the x factor when he was 14 years and, after several performances alone, the jury suggested him to form a band with four other boys:Harry Styles, Louis Tomilson, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan.
    When they joined they formed a band that called: One Direction.
    they finished third in the category of groups in the x factor.
    They donated 10.000 dolars for schools in Africa. They traveled there to shoot a music video "one way or another" and as they needed people for the video the children and teachers helped them bu appearing on the vido and then they give them the money.
    They won 52 awards: Kids choice awardsin a lot of countries, MTV video music, MP3 movie awards, and a lot more awards. There were nominated for 92 awards.

  9. GEORGE WASHINGTON
    George Washington was born on February 22, 1732. He died on December 14, 1799. George Washington lived in the United States of America with his father Augustine Washington and his mother Mary Ball Washington. He married and he had four children. First, George was a farmer and then a military, he fought in some wars. George Washington was the first president of United states of America. He fought for the American people and against the British domination. George Washington was, brave, honest, intelligent and kind. He helped the American people.

  10. STEVE JOBS
    Steven Paul Jobs, best known as Steve Jobs, was born on February 24th, 1955, in San Francisco, California and lived there. He studied at the Cupertino Middle School. He worked as a Co-founder and director of Apple, and Pixar, and founder of Next. He helped to improve technology. He was so intelligent, and he showed it, by running his own company, he was so brave because, he was so brave because he risked all his money, but finally he succeeded. Jobs fought against cancer, and finally died in California, on October, 5 2011.
    I think Steven Jobs was an exemplary person because he wanted to do all the thinks perfectly and he greatly improve a lot the technology world.

  11. Stephen Hawkings was born on the 8 of January of 1942 in Oxford (U.K.) and he lived in Britain. He studied in Oxford and Cambridge and he worked as a professor of applied maths and theorem physics . He helped all the scientists in the world with his work called “the black holes and the history of time”. He fought to defend the big bang theory, the theory of the black holes, the parallel universes theory and the theory of the relativity. He was very intelligent but he had a terrible illness and he couldn’t walk or speak. He had to use a wheelchair to move and talk. He agreed with Einstein’s theories and he wasn’t a religious person.

    He was born on 2nd of October of 1869, and died on 30th of January of 1948. He was a political Hindu thinker.
    He was born in Porbandar. He was the son of the first local minister.
    He studied law in University College London. He worked as a lawyer in Bombay. When he was working, he got interested in the situation of 150.000 compatriots living there and he fought against the laws that discriminated the Indians in South Africa through passive resistance and civil disobedience.
    In a country where politics was synonymous with corruption, Gandhi introduced ethics in that domain through the preaching and example. He lived in poverty unmitigated never granted privileges to his family, and always refused political power, before and after the liberation of India. This rejection made him become the leader of non-violence in a unique case among the revolutionaries of all time.

He studied physics and in 1921 he won the Nobel Physics Price and the Metteuci Medal. In 1925 he won the Copley Medal and in 1929 the Max Plank Medal. He only studied physics. Albert Einstein worked as a teacher of physics in different universities. His great intellectual achievements and originality have made the word “Einstein” synonymous with genius. He died on the eighteen of April, 1955.

  16. Theodore Roosevelt
    He was born in New York, in 1858, in New York. He lived with his father, mother, and his three brothers. After his father died, he studied in Harvard College. There he studied biology and philosophy. He graduated at Columbia Law School, but he didn’t practise because he thought it was too boring.
    In 1888 he applied for major at on the New York, and years later he became Assistant secretary at the Navy. After he became colonel, he started a war with Spain. In 1900 he became the president of the United States.
    During his term of office he fought against the racism, discrimination, and also against corruption. So in order to fight against racism, he gave work to “black” people.

  17. Theresa of Calcutta

    Her name was Agnes Gonwar Bojawin, but everybody knows her as another Theresa, she was born in 1910, on 26th august in Skopje, Macedonia. She was a catholic nun who lived and fought against poverty and marginalization In 1979 she won the novel pace prize.
    The pope Juan Pablo made her a saint she was a very compassionate woman, always wanking for the needs of the poorest people. She created a congregation of nuns dedicated to the poor charity missionaries.

  18. Abraham Lincoln was born in kentucky in 1809and died in Washington in 1865. He was the 16th president of the United States. Lincoln opposed the expansion of slavery.
    Lincoln’s first romàntic interest was Ann Rutledge, but she die dat the age of 22 August 1835. In 1840 Lincoln got engaged with Mary Todd. An 6th November 1860, Lincoln was choosen as the 16th president of United States. Jhon Wilkes Booth was an actor but it the same time was spy. He prepared a plan to kidnap Lincoln and exchange him for Conferedate prisoners. The eleventh of April when Lincoln promised fightirp for the rights of blacks, Booth changed his plans and decided to assasinate the president.

  19. Nelson Mandela was born on July 18,1918 and lived 94 years. He was a politiciau that was one of the emblematic leaders of the fight against the aparthend movement and he became the first president of the Republic of south-africa. When he was nine years old he went to school, and when he was twenty-two years old he went to Fort Hare university to study law. Then he was expelled from university. When he left Fort Hare university he started working an office. When he got his defree in sud-africa he started to study law in the university of Wiwatersrand.
    Nelson Mandela is a member of the National African congress to fight against the political dominance of the white minority and racial segregation . In 1993 he won the Nobel peace prize.He was a very sincere and he wanted equality for everybody.

John Lennon was born in 1940 and he grew up in Liverpool (UK) .In 1960 he made a band called “ The Beatles” with his friend Paul McCartbey , the band became successful , but at the end of 60’s he became a solits. His wife and he had fought for world Peace because they wanted a better world without violence, so to reflect this dream he made a song called
    “ Imagine” when the war of Vietman came, the goverment of Richard Nixon tried to expel John Lennon and his wife.
